At last: Construction work has begun on the water tower at the Becker steelworks. The landmark of the industrial park will be developed into the central company headquarters by a Willich-based company, which is currently represented at several locations. It’s supposedly the Hüsges Group, a free motor vehicle expert’s office headquartered on Halskestraße.

“The water tower and the water works, two striking buildings in the Stahlwerk Becker industrial area, have been falling further into ruin for years. Christian Pakusch, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the municipal real estate company (GSG), is therefore all the more pleased that construction is now starting on the water tower. The tower belongs to the Hüsges Group, an appraisal company which currently operates from several sites.”

“The Hüsges Group has developed an app which uses artificial intelligence to scan and analyse the damage to a vehicle. This should cut costs for insurers, ensure that customers receive their money more quickly, and actively involve intermediaries in the process.”
