11 hours of surgery – no signs of paralysis

Sophia Flörsch was operated for 11 hours in Macau. The procedure took so long because the doctors had to be careful about the nerve tracts. In this serious accident, the 17-year-old broke her seventh cervical vertebra. “The spinal cord has fortunately not been damaged,” said father Alexander Flörsch. There were also no signs of paralysis before the surgery.
