Der Fahrzeugbauer Westfalia bot eine Campingbox für den T1 an. Damit sollte der Bus für ein Wochenende unterwegs ausgestattet sein. Die Box enthielt einen Gaskocher, Gasflaschen, Klapptisch, Schrank und Regale. Alle Teile waren herausnehmbar entwickelt, um die Kombination von Arbeitsgerät und Freizeitmobil zu bieten.

The vehicle manufacturer Westfalia offered a camping box for the T1. So the bus was equipped for a weekend on the way. The box contained a gas cooker, gas bottles, folding table, cupboard and shelves. All parts were removably designed to provide the opportunity of a working and recreational vehicle.
